The world’s largest and biggest hotel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
According to reports will open in 2017. In Islamic world, Mecca is holiest place and also known to the Muslim faithful as Umm Al-Qura. Mecca has great Mosque that the Ka’aba, the most scared shrine of Islam, awaits the Muslim pilgrim.
Biggest hotel in Mecca is located about 45 miles east of the red sea port of Jedda, a city surrounded by the Sirat Mountains. The pilgrimage (hajj) to the scared city of Mecca, every year there are around 1,50,000,00 visitors came. With that many visitors the area needs plenty of hotel space. It will soon have it with the opening of Abraj Kudai- which will be the largest/biggest hotel in Mecca or in the world.

- 70 large size restaurants
- 4 super markets and five rooftop helipad
- The estimate project cost is around $3.5 billion, and will span approx 1.4 Million square meters.
The design of this hotel are unparalleled size, height as well as location, exposure and architectural style, the building poses itself as striking landmark.
This project is undertaken by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry and is designed by the Dar Al-Handasah group, a 7,000 strong global construction conglomerate that turns its hand to everything from designing cities in Kazakhstan to airport in Dubai. It is situated about 2km from the holy haram in Mecca.
The tourist will be offered an unbelievable level of luxury, with more than 70 restaurants and planning for 4 helipads on the roof as well. That makes more reliable for VIP visitor that directly came there at the top of the building.

Abraj Kudai is expected to open next year, but don’t panic about being first to make your reservation. There are so many rooms, plenty of rooms.
