Hello Guys its long time ago I couldn’t post anything on my website due to some reason but I am back on my website for writing some blogs. In this article I would like to share some facts about the Shirdi- Sai Temple, Maharashtra.


Sai Temple is situated in Town Shirdi, State Maharastra, and District Ahemdabad. Shirdi is one of Maharashtra’s most important pilgrimage towns. Official Language of this town is Marathi. A lot of devotees come here every day. The average of devotee is approximate 60,000 each day. By some Management estimates the figures can go as high as 100,000 over the weekends (Sunday, Special Holidays) and can go as high as 500,000 during auspicious days such as Dussehra, Gurupoornima and Ramnavami.

  1. This Temple is privately owned by Shirdi economy. It wasconstructed in 1922, four years after Sai Baba Death. This Temple owned by Shrimant Gopalrao, a millionaire from Nagpur who was devotee of Sai Baba. Now days this temple is run by the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust.


  1. No one is actually known theSai Baba real Name. He used to look like a “Fakir”. He always follows the religious book for all Religion and preached people from religious book. It is not clear yet that which religion Sai Baba Belonged from.


  1. In 2012, a person denoted110 Crore Rupees for Shirdi Sai Baba an Ashram which accommodate 14,000 Devotees.


  1. Sai baba temple here received income of approxRs 403.75 crore in various forms, including Rs 258.42 crore in donations, during the calendar year 2016. Member of Shree Sai baba Sansthan Trust (SSST)“Sachin Tambe” said in 2015 the temple’s income was Rs 72 crore. So we can say that devotees donate so much money in Sai Baba Trust and these amounts will help the poor peoples.


  1. Sai Baba Trust providesMeal (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) as Prasad with great satisfaction in very cheaper cost. At present, in the Sai prasadalaya, everyday 25 to 30 thousand Sai devotees take meal as a Prasad.

Some More things to know

  1. Sai Trust use these large amount of donation to making the hospitals. Shri Sai Trust also offering School facilities. They want to use the donations in welfare purpose in Shirdi. It is the big move by the Shri Sai Sansthan Trust for the devotees.
